New Delhi [India], October 5 (ANI): Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is preparing a series of programmes and events in the national capital as a part of seva sankalp abhiyan to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public life, with the celebrations beginning with a major ‘Seva Jyoti’ programme at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium.
According to a top BJP source, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address the nation on October 7 from the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium as part of the ‘Seva Jyoti’ programme. The Delhi BJP is making arrangements for the participation of around 5,000 people at the venue.
Ahead of the main programme, ‘Seva Jyoti’ processions will be taken out from all organisational mandals across Delhi, with BJP workers and supporters expected to participate in the processions before reaching the main venue.
According to sources, Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, all Delhi MPs, and MLAs, along with national and state office-bearers of the BJP, are expected to attend the programme.
The Delhi BJP has planned a series of programmes over the following days as part of seva sankalp Abhiyan.
On October 8, Union Health Minister JP Nadda is scheduled to attend a programme at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi.
On October 9, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit the Matiala Assembly constituency, where he is expected to inaugurate a sewage treatment plant project worth around Rs 12,000-13,000 crore, according to sources.
On October 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend a programme at Pusa. Sources said that around 1,200 people participating in the bike rally from Vadnagar and Varanasi are expected to attend the programme, where the Prime Minister will address them.
The series of programmes is part of the BJP’s broader celebrations around Prime Minister Modi completing 25 years in public life, with the party focusing on seva, public participation and outreach activities across Delhi.
The Delhi BJP has been coordinating with its organisational units and senior leaders for the programmes, with a large participation of party workers and the public expected during the week-long activities. (ANI)
